Marty Marquez is a well-known music teacher in his area of influence. Marty's musical career has been long and varied. He was the principal clarinetist for most of his 13 years in a symphony orchestra. He has played in stage bands backing such musicians as Tony Bennett, Tony Orlando, Wayne Newton, Johnny Mathis, Tom Jones, Engelbert Humperdinck, Steve Lawrence, Edie Gorme and many others.



Marty has also played in the orchestra pit for operas, musicals, and on stage for special concerts with touring orchestras needing experienced and capable woodwind players. He has played for ice shows, rodeos, circuses, and many Big Band and Dixieland Groups. He is very much at home with both classical and jazz groups.
